Since our inception in 1997, Calyx has gone through many changes and transitions. My wife Joanne and I have taken this company from our home office, to employing 25 people full time. We have been fortunate over the years to have had the opportunity to employ our children and create a family with our team. Our kids have moved on to chase their own dreams and start their own families. Although the change was hard, three years ago we had the opportunity to pivot and rebuild our team with some great people. Our team has played a large part in the reinvention of Calyx Builds. I want to introduce you to our Project Management Team.
Dan DiDonato has worked for Calyx for over 10 years. He started as a Finish Carpenter and was quickly promoted to Project Manager. Dan’s ability to dissect a problem and to envision which path to take is one of his strongest qualities. Dan is also our resident Meteorologist, his passion for watching the weather has become an asset for planning our projects. On his time off Dan can most likely be found in his garden or whipping up amazing food in his kitchen. Dan also happens to be Steve’s Dad!
Steve Landreth has worked for Calyx for over 10 years. He started as an Insulation Carpenter and moved up to become a Finish Carpenter and then our Lead Capenter. Like his dad, through his dedication to his craft and ability to think on his feet he got promoted to Project Manager. We can count on Steve to keep our team meetings full of laughter and most likely running late! Steve is an outdoorsman through and through, fishing, camping and axe throwing as much as he can in his spare time! Steve is also the proud father of two feisty girls who keep him on his toes!
Mustafa Mohammed has worked for Calyx for 3 years. He came on board as an Estimator and quickly revealed his talents, leading him to become our Assistant Project Manager. Mustafa has become a core member of our team, providing our team with support and forward momentum. Mustafa is a dedicated family man who enjoys working out and playing defense on his Soccer team.
Jenna Ehlert has worked for Calyx for 4 years. She came on board in an administrative role and quickly showed a passion for streamlining our efficiencies. She was promoted to Operations and Project Coordinator, helping our team meet deadlines and working with our clients from the first phone call to the completion of projects. In her free time, Jenna enjoys spending time with her husband and dog, playing Dungeons and Dragons and caring for her extensive plant collection.
Joanne has worked for Calyx since 1997. She is the Bookkeeper and Office Manager. Her and Bobs 39th Anniversary is coming up next month. She is an unbelievable cook and is dedicated to her 3 children and granddaughter.
Bob has worked for Calyx since 1997. He is the President of Calyx. Bob enjoys traveling and gardening along with spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Nora Wilks Is the youngest member of our team she recently turned 1 year old and loves playing with her cats Kimbo and Gigi.
