ANNOUNCEMENT!!!
I am excited to announce that Joanne and I are now Grandparents (Nonna and Pappy) for the first time!! Our Daughter Julie and her Husband, Loren welcomed their Daughter, Eleanora Charlene, to this world on Thanksgiving Day morning.
We will forever cherish that we able to be with them in Colorado for her birth. The Hospital even had a Thanksgiving Dinner for all of the Patients, Staff and the Grandparents!
I fully enjoyed going offline for the first time in 43 years and being able to savor this once in a lifetime experience with my family! Each morning around 6:30 am, after her breakfast, I was privileged to cradle Nora for a couple of hours, just the two of us, before the rest of the house woke up. She has given us a new perspective on our lives and we look forward to seeing her grow over the coming years.
